Not having the option to export the data means vendor lock-in. This is a good thing for the vendor, but a bad thing for the users, and can even prevent users from committing to getquin. It's a lot of work to enter all your transactions manually, so not being able to get the data out of the system can raise doubt whether to make this commitment at all. You never know what might happen to a platform in the future, so being able to get your data out is essential in my opinion. Even for a personal backup.

I don't see the added value there.

If I use a portfolio tracker, why would I want to export everything and import it somewhere else (e.g. Excel)?
Why get a tracker if you still want to export everything and use it elsewhere?

It is probably also not in the interest of a company to make it easier for users to use a different tracker.

If it is legal and recognized by the tax office, I would be interested in an export of crypto transactions with holding period etc. so that I can use it for my tax return.

But otherwise I don't see any need for this.
