Perceptual color space for continuous gradients

Issue:
The color gradient of graphs is perceptually discontinuous. The palette of colors has varying hues and saturations.
Solution:
Use a perceptual color space to define these gradients such as Oklab which is consistent in terms of humanly perceived chroma, hue and lightness. bottosson.github.io/posts/oklab/
